ISMA UK is the leading professional body for workplace and personal stress management, wellbeing and performance. A registered charity and membership- based organisation founded over 50 years ago in 1974, ISMA UK seeks to advance the education of the general public in the field of stress reduction. ISMA UK provides information and advice to individuals, businesses and other organisations, and supports the Health & Safety Executive in the delivery of their requirements for stress risk assessment. ISMA UK ’s mission is to raise the profile of stress and mental health issues, inform and campaign against the stigma associated with them, whilst promoting resilience and wellbeing. We promote sound knowledge and best practice in stress management across the UK and internationally. As a charity, ISMA UK disseminates and exchanges knowledge through initiatives such as International Stress Awareness Week, which is organised and hosted by ISMA UK to advance education and understanding in the field of biological stress.
