Mental Health Foundation

Since 1949, the Mental Health Foundation has been the UK’s leading charity for everyone’s mental health. Prevention is our business. At work, this means promoting and protecting the mental health of the whole organisation by equipping managers, supporting those at greatest risk of mental ill health and enabling people with mental health issues to thrive in work by addressing discrimination and supporting disclosure.

We provide evidence-based resources to workplaces, and we host mental health awareness week each May. We promote the green ribbon as an international symbol of mental health awareness. We work with employers through CSR partnerships and providing professional services. Alongside our partners Mental Health at Work CIC we provide tailored learning programmes to raise awareness of mental health issues, address stigma, and enable businesses to integrate mental health into their culture at every level.
