Labour MP for Tooting | A&E Doctor

Dr Rosena Allin-Khan MP was elected as Member of Parliament for Tooting in a by-election in 2016 and has previously served on the frontbench as Shadow Minister for Sport and Shadow Cabinet Member for Mental Health. She has worked in conflict zones and refugee camps around the world as a humanitarian doctor, and continues to work as an A&E doctor. In her role as Shadow Cabinet Member for Mental Health, Rosena helped develop Labour Party policy in the area. She works as an A&E doctor at St George’s Hospital, in her constituency, during her free time and Parliamentary recesses. During the pandemic, she worked in the NHS both in A&E and as part of the Family Support Liaison Team at the Royal London Hospital, in the ITU helping families communicate with sick and dying relatives. Rosena continues to be a powerful advocate in Parliament for the NHS.
