Ella West has worked in organisational health for over 16 years, holding both consultancy and inhouse roles. Her current position as Wellbeing Lead for communications company Arqiva, has seen her take their wellbeing offering from humble beginnings over ten years ago, to the much valued and successful employee programme that it is today, with Arqiva recently having been crowned Britain’s Healthiest Workplace 2023. Ella’s journey into organisational wellbeing followed a degree in ergonomics from Loughborough University and an early career as a consultant ergonomist and trainer for Posturite UK. She joined phone company BlackBerry in 2009 to lead their EMEA wellbeing programme, giving her the opportunity to get creative (in a space where few other organisations were focusing), developing and delivering engaging programmes to a diverse audience across the region. Being innovative when developing wellbeing offerings is something that Ella still prides herself on today and something she feels is key to driving and maintaining employee engagement.
